This was the infant carseat we used for DS (we got a travel system with it), and we really liked it. It has good support on the sides, and good support for when they're newborns. At 9 months he is just about too tall for it, but still fits it. It's a heavier carseat so that can be difficult as baby grows. Also, it isn't made on the bottom to fit in carts like other carseats are so it can be hard when shopping and needing to put the seat in a car. We were very happy with it though.
